Big new Escapade Games fans!  We are at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo) this weekend to drum up support for the Story Realms Kickstarter!  The Kickstarter launched on Friday and we are already halfway to our goal.  Being at PAX has been a blast.  We've run tons of demos for Story Realms and gotten to talk to all kinds of people.  It's always fun to see new people play Story Realms.  Even with the same adventure, there's a new story told each time depending on who sits down at the table.

I love it when someone playing the Flashy Talent really gets into it.

Even thought PAX is generally thought of as a video game convention (and it certainly is) there is a lot of great tabletop gaming going on as well and plenty people looking to check out these kinds of games.  I was pleased to see that amongst the throngs of video game fans, there were actually people specifically seeking out Story Realms.  I guess the word is really getting out there.

PAX hasn't been all Story Realms all the time.  We've run games of Shadowrift and managed to play a game of Scrapbots this evening (we'll tell those stories a bit later on Growing Up Gamers).  We've really enjoyed our time here so far and are very excited about Sunday...which, as I gaze at the clock, is just a few hours away so it's off to sleep for us.  It's a short post, but we'll give you a bigger wrap up of our PAX experience when we get home.

PAX is cool, but playing Story Realms with people is always the highlight of my day.
